Ms. Marry

Marry was born in Mississippi but moved to Milwaukee in 1974. She has lived in her current home for over 24 years. Marry has worked as a teacher and as a daycare manager. Marry heard about Revitalize Milwaukee on TV and called with concerns of cross-wiring issues, no gate on the side of her house, and has some damaged drywall. Marry is the block captain of the neighborhood and is very active in providing resources for the youth in the area. 

RM, with the help of the state bar association, was able to fix Marry’s plumbing, add a railing for her basement stairs, install grab bars in her bathroom, and build a mini gate to block people from cutting through the alley on the side of her house. 

Marry was overwhelmed by all of the repairs in her house. She feels peace knowing no one can cut through her yard on the side of the house. In the bathroom, Marry said she noticed that her water is running faster and that she has to get used to using the grab bars. Overall, Marry was extremely thankful for these repairs and hopes more people can get the same opportunity!
