More On Alesha's Independence

Alesha is 54 years old and has been living with Multiple Sclerosis for 25 years. Last year, we highlighted her story when we removed the lip in her shower to make it more accessible and restore some of her independence. This time around we installed remote light switches that she can use from anywhere in her home, as she isn’t able to reach the wall switches.

These repairs may seem small, but they are mighty in the way they transform someone’s home into a space that works for them.
