Helping Maryann Beat the Heat

Ms. Maryann is an elderly homeowner who was in need of our chore services program. She called us during Milwaukee’s recent heatwave, in desperate need of help putting her air conditioning unit in the window. Ms. Maryann is almost 90 years old, lives alone in her home, and has very few friends, family or neighbors to help her with things around the house. Our team helped moved the air conditioning unit into the window to help her stay cool during some of the hottest weather Milwaukee has seen in decades. This chore service for Ms. Maryann is one of many that we offer to seniors, veterans and people with disabilities. A program which aligns with our mission to help people age in place safely and comfortably regardless of age, income or ability.
