Bessie is 84 years old and has lived in her home for 42 years. Recently, WE Energies discovered four gas leaks in her home on the pipe that ran to her broken water heater, causing them to shut that section of the gas off. Seeking repairs to her gas line and her water heater, she called us. After we fixed the four gas leaks and replaced her water heater, we found two more gas leaks that had not been spotted and immediately fixed them.

Bessie also told us the former renter who lived upstairs and was court-ordered to leave had given the key to random people for them to illegally stay upstairs. When our contractor went upstairs to inspect the situation, he found the stovetop on and the flames at the highest setting. He turned the stove off and locked entry to the upstairs, preventing anybody else but Bessie from getting up there.

Long story short, had the gas leaks spread upstairs, this story would’ve ended a lot different. We’re glad Bessie is safe now.
